CHAINED HEAT (From Joe Bob's Ultimate B Movie Guide) |
Sequel to the women-in-prison classic THE CONCRETE
JUNGLE, made by the same people but with Stella
Stevens replacing Jill St. John as the crooked prison officer,
and Linda Blair replacing Tracy Bregman as the little lambchop
who gets put through the Commercial Osterizer prison system.
Linda goes to prison, as usual, for no reason at all, wrecking
her potential career as an interior decorator when she kills a
guy in a car accident. Poufy brunette Sharon Hughes is the Good
Friend. Blonde fox Sybil Danning is the white gang leader and
Evil Friend. Tamara Dobson, in a rare appearance after her short-
lived "Cleopatra Jones" fame, shows up as a Vassar-educated black
gang leader. John Vernon is the sleazeball warden who takes
jailhouse bimbos to his hot tub. And Henry Silva is the S&M freak
guard who pimps and runs drugs. Thirty-three breasts. One shower
scene. Three rapes. One bimbo neck impaled on a wire. Two
strippers. One transvestite rassling scene. Minimal lesbo action.
Two brawls, one black-on-white, with plenty of eye-gouging, hair-
pulling, and knees in embarrassing places. Nine dead bodies.
Another death-in-the-john scene. Moderate Kung Fu. Directed by
Paul Nicolas. |
